Hai all

It seems now I need a good build for each of my heros, as now I can't allow myself to die (Survivor good ol' way ^^). Last time it was pretty much whatever except for the necros and the monks; I'd suit for any spare weapons I had. But have to say, the dervish and para builds I made completely suck, and not only because I haven't unlocked many of the skills, but also because I haven't played with any (kinda hard to think names, and even harder to play more than three toons for me).

And seeing a gazillion quests require this hero or that one, I want some help (served on silver plate if possible ;D) about what to use on them. I'm referring to Koss (Quivering pvxwiki one, but since Devona is so effective was perhaps thinking of a hammer build), Melonni (no idea here) and Morgahn (whenever I get him (no idea here also though)). And also help me decide what to run on the eles (Zhed/Sousuke), I tried both earth Unsteady Ground and Searing Flames with interrupts, and don't know if I should have one for each build, two of the same, etc. Weapon advice is also greatly appreciated (sp?)

PS: Yes I know of the thread with hero builds but the posts are kinda outdated at the point of Para's/Dervishes.

well do u want the para def or attacking?
better not to use melee heroes they just suck because of AI, if u want non elemental damage use paragons and ranger

ele - SH,liquid flame,glowing gaze,GoLE,rodgorts mark / invocation,rez,fire atune - great on ele heroes got gr8 e-management and they use it well - can't be disagreed with...

para - run something like DA para or SoR as elite then motivation and command skills - good for 2nd monk purposing...

derv - old AoG bar was nerfed so that blows now - still try lyssa or grenth as elite with mysticism support and earth prayers for tanking purposes -- always worked for me in HM so they must be good enough!

General purpose.

[wounding strike][banishing strike][victorious sweep][heart of fury][sight beyond sight][heart of holy flame][resurrection signet] + the enchant with no duration that heals you <50%hp (forgot the name)
For undead areas. Victorious sweep can be anything, like mystic sweep.

It hurts...

Melee heroes are bad because of their AI, but if you want one use Turbobusa's suggestion.

Paragon:

[song of restoration][ballad of restoration][aggressive refrain]["watch yourself!"]["shields up!"][spear of lightning][mending refrain][signet of return]

For blocking, switch SoR for Defensive Anthem and Ballad of Restoration for Anthem of Flame, and Watch Yourself for Cry of Frustration, Shields Up for Go For The Eyes and Mending Refrain for whatever.

Ele:

[elemental attunement][fire attunement][rodgorts invocation][liquid flame][ward against melee][no skill][no skill][no skill]

If you're physical strong, go D/N orders and add some hexbreaker and anthem of envy to tyla's in place of watch yourself and shields up.

this is what i generally use for my dervs when i HAVE to use them. you must give them an ebon scythe though. they aren't really so good at keeping something like [dust cloak] active along with everything else.

a good ele build

[searing fla][glowing gaze][glyph of lesser][liquid flame][fire attunement]

add a rez and some optionals. giving them /Rt and [splinter weapon] , if no one else has it is a good option. usually if i'm using one SF ele, i'll go ahead and use 2 of them and a necro minion bomber.

If you have 2-3 or more physhical in your team i would suggestD/N Orders. Don't really use para or ele myself so can't help with it.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. More are still welcome (now that it seems they fixed some of the melee AI).

One last thing, for Melonni should I use a Zealous 15^50 +20% enchants or what?

do not let your heroes play melee. if you have to take a warrior.... dont. if you have to take a dervish make them spam orders or do EDA/volley.

thats a good'un for a dervish, lets you attack at range, good survivability and disables tricky melee foes. Just make sure he has a Ebon Weapon (unless you want to try out [[Staggering Force] - since the new update, apparently they've changed how they use it.

ooooooooorrr.. the classic orders derv:

[build prof=D/N box Myst=11+1+1 Wind=10+1 Blood=10][Order Of Pain][Dark Fury][Arcane Zeal][Dwayna's Touch][Vow Of Piety][Watchful Intervention][Mystic Healing][Faithful Intervention][/build]

Equip them with a blood staff of enchanting and put lots of physical attackers in your team (Paras work well - see "My Paragon's Buddies" - Rac's build)
